THE WORLD OF LIRI™ is built around gentle, emotionally supportive storytelling for young children, meant to be enjoyed together with a parent, guardian, or teacher. Protecting children's privacy is a condition of how this Site is designed, not an afterthought.

The "Kids Mode" / Liri Play Corner area of this Site does not include account creation, login, chat, comments, file uploads, saved profiles, or any other feature that asks a child to type or submit information.
Under FTC guidance, an operator of a child-directed website is responsible for the data-collection practices of any third party operating through its site — including analytics, advertising, fonts, embeds, plug-ins, and other integrated tools — and must investigate those practices before adding them. We have reviewed this Site against that standard. As of the Effective Date above, this Site uses EmailJS, a third-party email delivery service, solely to automatically send the email address submitted through the adult-only Founding Friends form (described below) to our own inbox, without opening the visitor’s own email application. EmailJS is never used in Kids Mode, never collects information from children, and is not used for analytics, advertising, or tracking. This Site also uses a same-origin gift-claim service that we operate ourselves on our own infrastructure to process the Book 01 Gift Claim feature described below; it is never used in Kids Mode, never collects information from children, is not operated by a third party, and is not used for analytics, advertising, or tracking. Other than EmailJS, no other third-party analytics, ad pixels, retargeting, social-media plug-ins, third-party fonts, embeds, or CDN-delivered tools are in use beyond what is strictly necessary for the Site to load and operate. If any additional such tool is added in the future, this notice will be updated first to name it and describe what it collects.
This Site does not use cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB to identify or track a child, and does not use analytics services, advertising pixels, retargeting, or behavioral advertising technology of any kind. The only locally-stored value on this Site is a display preference (Kids Mode vs. Parents Mode), which stays in the visitor's own browser and is never sent to us or to any third party.
The "Parents & Teachers" section of this Site may offer downloadable resources for adults. As of the Effective Date above, no email address, account, or other personal information is required to access these resources.
This Site offers one optional feature that collects a parent's email address — the "Founding Friends" mailing list signup. That feature:
