THE WORLD OF LIRI™ ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how this website, theworldofliri.com (the "Site"), handles information. This Site is operated by TAN GLOBAL LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.

This Site is a children's publishing and brand website. It is not an e-commerce platform, does not require an account or login, and does not include chat, comments, or social features.

Information We Collect

We do not ask children to provide personal information, do not create accounts, and do not use behavioral advertising. Specifically, as of the Effective Date above:

• No account creation, login, or registration is required or offered.
• Founding Friends email signup: An adult-only "Founding Friends" form is available on this Site. If you choose to use it, we collect only the email address you provide and your confirmation that you are an adult signing up on your own behalf. This field is not directed to children and includes no other personal information. We use it to send occasional emails about THE WORLD OF LIRI™: new books and releases, activities and printables, merchandise, special offers and discounts, and other brand updates. These emails are prepared and sent by TAN GLOBAL LLC ourselves, including with automated tools we operate; we do not hand your email to an outside marketing company. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove your email at any time by contacting us. We keep your email only while you remain subscribed.
• Book 01 Gift Claim: A parent or guardian may claim one free digital copy of a Liri book through a personal, non-public link shared directly by the author (for example, a printed QR code), reachable only from the Parents tab of that page. To claim the gift, we collect the email address you provide, your confirmation that you are an adult claiming the gift on your own behalf for a child in your care, and a randomly generated device identifier stored in your browser so your gift can be reopened on the same device without registering again. If you separately check the optional box to receive updates, we additionally use that email address to send occasional news and merchandise announcements about THE WORLD OF LIRI. Access granted through this feature is valid for 90 days from when it is first claimed; re-entering the same email address within that window restores access on a new device without extending or resetting the 90-day period.
• No comment box, chat feature, upload, account, saved profile, or interactive game on this Site asks a visitor to submit personal information beyond the Founding Friends email field and the Book 01 Gift Claim feature described above.
• No cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB are used to identify or track a visitor across the internet or across our own pages, other than as described for the Book 01 Gift Claim feature above. Locally-stored values on this Site are limited to a non-identifying display preference (Kids Mode / Parents Mode) and, only if you use the Book 01 Gift Claim feature, a randomly generated device identifier and your gift access token, all saved in your own browser and never sold, shared, or used for advertising.
• No analytics, advertising pixels, retargeting, behavioral advertising, or social-media plug-ins are active on this Site.
• No payment or commerce functionality is active on this Site.

If we collect any additional information beyond what is described above in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy before that feature goes live, describing exactly what is collected, why, how long it is kept, and how it is protected.

Third-Party Tools & Services

We are responsible for the data practices of any third-party tool, plugin, font, embed, analytics service, or hosting integration used on this Site, and we review those practices before adding any such tool. As of the Effective Date above, this Site uses EmailJS, a third-party email delivery service, solely to automatically send the email address submitted through the Founding Friends form to our own inbox, without opening the visitor’s own email application; EmailJS is not used for analytics, advertising, or tracking, and is not active anywhere else on this Site. This Site also uses a same-origin gift-claim service that we operate ourselves on our own infrastructure to process Book 01 Gift Claim submissions described above; it is not operated by a third party, is not used for analytics, advertising, or tracking, and is not active anywhere else on this Site. Other than EmailJS, no other third-party fonts, embeds, scripts, CDN-delivered tools, error-logging services, or hosting integrations are in use beyond what is strictly necessary for the Site to load and operate. If that changes, this section will be updated to name the tool and describe what it collects.

Children's Privacy

This Site is designed to be used by children together with a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. For our full notice under the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), see our Children's Privacy Policy.

How We Use Information

We use the personal information described above only as follows: the email address and adult confirmation collected through the Book 01 Gift Claim feature are used solely to grant, verify, and, if needed, restore your free digital gift access, and to maintain an internal count of gifts claimed; if you separately opt in using that feature's optional marketing checkbox, we additionally use that email address to send occasional updates, news, and merchandise announcements about THE WORLD OF LIRI, which you may unsubscribe from at any time; and the Founding Friends email address is used to send occasional emails about THE WORLD OF LIRI™ — news, new books and activities, merchandise, and special offers or discounts — to those who signed up, which you may unsubscribe from at any time using the link in every email or by contacting us. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Third-Party Links

This Site may link to third-party services such as book retailers or publishing platforms (for example, Amazon KDP). Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. We encourage parents to review those policies before a child interacts with a linked site.

Hosting & Security

This Site is hosted by a third-party web hosting provider. Standard hosting-level security practices apply. Browsing this Site does not create a personal profile. The only personal information we keep is what you choose to submit through the Founding Friends form or the Book 01 Gift Claim, handled as described above.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes — particularly any change that would introduce new data collection — will be reflected with an updated Effective Date above, and where appropriate, a notice on the Site.
